The gorges du Tarn |
The Tarn river, which rises from the Mount Lozère, goes down the Cévennes with a quick and torrent-like flow. The Tarn river carved the limestone plateaus (Causse Méjean and Causse de Sauveterre) and their erosion gave contorted shapes to the Gorges .
