Gourmet Walk 2024 at the Moulin de la Malène

The weather is nice, summer is here, the sun is shining more and more and the desire to get some fresh air is becoming more and more pressing...

We will awaken your taste buds with our local products.

On a 17km descent of the Gorges du Tarn, 4 gourmet breaks will enhance your canoe trip.

4 tasting breaks to discover local products made by local producers, artisans and restaurateurs.

The program of the day :

Home

• 9 a.m. – Meet at the Moulin de la Malène, welcome participants and hand out the day’s logbook
• 9:45 a.m. – Departure by shuttle to Saint Chély du Tarn

1st gourmet break in Saint Chély du Tarn: breakfast time

• Fouasse, honey
• Coffee, Aubrac tea, artisanal fruit juice

2nd gourmet break at the Château de la Caze

• Aperitif and the delicacy of the Château

3rd gourmet break at the Moulin de la Malène: At the table, it’s noon…or almost!

• Wood-fired roast pork
• truffade
• Cheese round
• Wine (extra charge)

Damien Albaret, brewer and lemonade maker for 4 generations, will offer you a glass from his selection for tasting.

A small asparagus spread with wild garlic from Artisan du Fruit will complete the tasting.

4th gourmet break at the Cirque des Beaumes: it's the arrival! Long live the snack!

At the end of this tasting, you will be taken back to the Moulin de la Malène canoe base with their shuttles.
