8- Troglodyte route

Canoe kayak from Sainte-Enimie to Pas de Soucy

In this course, you start at the most upstream point, above Sainte-Enimie.

You will see two campsites a little further, then you will arrive at Saint Chély. You will see Pougnadoires, a beautiful troglodyte hamlet. You will also pass the “Château de La Caze”, and Hauterives, a small village in full restoration, there remains the remains of an 11th century castle.

Continuing your route, you will be able to see La Malène, you will pass in front of our Moulin, then you will pass in the Straits, the most agitated part of the river. At the exit of the straits you will see La Croze, notably known for its postcard. A few shots later, you will see the Rock of the Mushroom, or “Snoopy” for the children.

We advise you to go right, another exceptional place awaits you, the Point Sublime, from there, you will have the pleasure to admire the panorama that is offered to you. A little further down the Pas de Soucy, the exit is indicated by 2 vests hanging in height and by a panel on the right side. This course is long and takes all day, it is 24 kilometers!

Rowing time indicative of 5 hours.

• A shuttle will then take you to the starting point of your itinerary
• Lift at the end of the route (boats and passengers)
